Questions owners ask
Does the person scanning need to install an app?
No. The QR opens a normal web page. Any phone camera on Android or iPhone, or any QR scanner app, will work.
How do I activate my sticker?
Scan it with your phone camera. It opens the activation form straight away. Fill in your details, your vehicle and up to three emergency contacts, and it's live straight away.
Who can see my phone number?
Only someone who scans your QR, so they can call you quickly. The number isn't printed on the sticker, and every scan is recorded in your dashboard. You can switch the QR off at any time.
Can I use one account for more than one vehicle?
Yes. Each vehicle gets its own sticker, with its own emergency contacts. Scan a new sticker while logged in and it's added to your account.
What if they don't allow location?
They can still call you. Location is only saved when the person allows it in their browser, and it depends on their phone settings.
I changed my number. Do I need a new sticker?
No. Edit your details in the owner dashboard. The same QR shows your updated contacts straight away.
Can I switch the QR off?
Yes. Turn it off from your dashboard, for example when you sell the vehicle. Anyone who scans it will see that the QR is inactive.
